Rooms at The Home Port Inn A Bed & Breakfast in Scenic, Lubec, Maine

The Home Port Inn was originally the Warren family home. Now that the home has been converted into an inn, you might find yourself staying in the master bedroom, the guest room, or even the library. Rooms include those overlooking Cobscook Bay, part of the Bay of Fundy, and the city of Eastport across the bay.

Our Season: Our inn is open from May 15th to October 15th. Limited off-season lodging is available by reservation.

Breakfast is available to our inn guests every morning between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. Breakfast features our special granola served with delicious fresh fruit, and our homemade blueberry muffins, or a special of the day.

A private bath is provided for each of our seven rooms.

“The Library”

Located on the ground floor, this room has a queen size bed and private bath. The bookshelves are filled with classic literature as well as books about Maine

“The Dining Room”

The original dining room of the home has been converted into one of our most popular guest rooms. The room is located on the ground floor and has two double beds and a private bath.

“The Guest Room”

When the Warren family lived here, this was their guest room. It has a queen size bed, a private bath with a tub and shower, and a bit of a view of the water.

“The Daughter's room”

This room has a queen size bed and a private bath with beautiful hand-painted tiles. There are lovely views of the trees and gardens from the windows.

“The Master Bedroom”

This former master bedroom of the Warren home has a queen four poster bed, a sitting area with a sofa and chair, and a private bath. It is our most spacious room.

This large room has king size bed. The private bath for this room is just 7 steps down the hall. See the garden in bloom from a chair by the window.

“The Bay View”

We named this room for its spectacular view overlooking Cobscook Bay. "The Bay View" has a queen size bed and chairs for a seating area. Private bath.

Breakfast at the Inn

Breakfast is available for guests of our inn from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and is included in the room fare.

We always offer our famous Downeast cereal, juice, fruit and muffins. Also, our guests have a choice of a special hot "dish of the day".

Our hot breakfasts include many of our guests' favorites such as Belgian Waffles, sausage and egg casserole, blueberry pancakes, western omelets, and baked apple French toast. Side dishes include hash brown casserole and stone-ground yellow grits.

We complete our breakfast offerings with fresh seasonal fruit and freshly baked muffins, scones, or biscuits.
